THE POOL

Kijani Beach Villas is a family oriented boutique hotel. We are perfectly suited for families as all of our facilities and services are created with families in mind. Our child friendly pool has 3 parts: a baby pool with a height of 30cm only is perfect for the little ones splashing around and maybe experiencing their first swim in their lives! The second part is our 60cm deep pool with a short slide and an island to play on or around, creating room for lots of imagination whilst cooling down in the water.

The deeper part of the pool (up to 1.80m) is to enjoy swimming and playing water games.

PLAYGROUND

For our smaller guests we have created a playground area, to continue the fun outside of the water.

With a climbing tower, a swing and a tree hut there is lots of space to play!

RESTAURANT

Our restaurant on site provides international and local inspired dishes to satisfy every need. From uncomplicated food to more complex taste, we try to cover a wide range of flavours.

Our kids menu is especially designed for your child’s needs: simple but delicious food and overall healthy. We have high chairs for babies and smaller children and a special playcorner with rotating toys to keep them entertained.

SUNBATHING

We created several relaxing spots to either sunbath or chill in the shade.

Our locally produced umbrellas are located at the beachfront with sunbeds and comfortable matresses to read a book or enjoy a drink.

Around the pool there are several ‘kibanda’s’, shaded wooden sunbeds with a kingsize mattress so the whole family can stay together or share the bed with a friend or a loved one to have a cozy space ‘a deux’.

MASSAGE & SPA

Tired of travelling, sore body or just treating yourself?

Book a massage treatment with our spa team to start your holiday in the best way possible. We offer a range of treatments such as massage, mani- and pedicure, hairbraiding and even a Japanse trained chiropractor to realign your body. All in the comfort of your own villa.

In need of a work-out or a morning stretch?

We offer kick-box, crossfit and yoga classes on demand. Our upstairs deck in the restaurant is a beautiful place to enjoy a sunrise yoga session or sunset meditation.

WATER

Amazing pool-blue waters, who doesn’t want to be in it?

Choose your way: diving, snorkelling, boating, kiting, surfing, kayaking, supping or just floating? From the famous Safari Blue to diving in the waters of Mnemba Island’s blue atoll ending at one of the sandbanks with the whitest sand in the world. Gliding with your sup through the mysterious mangrove forest or even yoga on a sup? Anything is possible!

NATURE

Besides the deepest blue, Zanzibar also offers the most intense greens.

Jozani Forest not only hosts one of the last endemic species on the island: the red Colobus monkey, it also includes the old coral forest and a protected land of mangrove trees.

Talk spices? Discover how and where different spices grow and when brought to the island hundreds of years ago, they helped the island become today’s ‘Spice Island’.

CULTURE

Zanzibar’s history is rich and complicated, filled with influences of different worlds, blended together in what it is today.

The famous and UNESCO World Heritage listed centre of Stone Town is a must see, walk around with a guide and let your senses be inspired. Closer to home you can discover village life, visit a school and see how the locals cook.
