Our little bit of paradise ...
.. situated in Bwejuu, a small fisherman's village next to Paje, on the
South East coast of Zanzibar.
The village of Bwejuu is still a very quiet place that is inhabited by mainly Zanzibari. There are a few local shops and football fields and since 2024 we have a very good animal hospital and our biggest joy: a proper centre for padel, mini tennis, pickle ball and beach volleyball.

About 10 minutes drive from our place you will find Paje, a bustling village with an ever growing number of hotels, guesthouses, restaurants, shops and other services like hairdressers, SPA’s, minimarkets etc.
Even though it depends on traffic and the state of the roads, here are some indications on what villages and destinations are around us and how long it approximately takes to get there.
